Estimate your interest
Assumes the entered APY stays constant and interest is reinvested, with no deposits, withdrawals, fees or taxes. Savings APYs can change. CD early-withdrawal penalties are excluded. APY already includes compounding; a fund SEC yield or Treasury par yield is not an APY.
How the estimate works
Interest = deposit × ((1 + APY ÷ 100)months ÷ 12 − 1). For example, $10,000 at 4% APY earns $400 over 12 months or about $198.04 over six months.
